Greetings to all residents of Sanctuary and welcome to November! For many of us, autumn is in full swing now with beautiful colors lighting up the trees. The flower of November is the chrysanthemum and November's birthstones are the topaz and the citrine. Cynthia Rylant says of this month that, "in November, the smell of food is different. It is an orange smell. A squash and pumpkin smell. It tastes like cinnamon and can fill up a house in the morning, can pull everyone from bed in a fog. Food is better in November than any other time of the year." Residents celebrating birthdays this month are:
Congratulations to Seers of Vanaheim for winning October's clan war! If you want the chance at glory for your clan and 10,000 gems for your clan's vault, come together and take those pyramids!
Bad nav bad nav, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when it comes for you? Sadly there isn't much you can do once you become trapped except wait and hope to be freed before you fade forever into obscurity. However, you can avoid bad navs fairly easily. Just make sure to log out if you step away from the game, even if you think you may only be away for a few minutes. Just doing this one simple thing will protect you from the vile wraith.

Welcome everyone to October, a favorite month for many residents in our beloved Sanctuary.
The flowers for October are the marigold and the cosmos and the birthstone is the opal. L.M. Montgomery once wrote "I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers," and I feel exactly the same way. Residents who were born in October are:
Congratulations to Seers of Vanaheim for winning September's clan war! If you want the chance at glory for your clan and 10,000 gems for your clan's vault, come together and take those pyramids!
*turns on a flashlight and holds it under her chin.* It's time for a scary story, the story of the brave but doomed Elven warrior Johnny. It was a night like this, not too long ago when Johnny the Elf warrior set out on a quest to kill the fearsome Green Dragon. Johnny was fearless and he killed many vile creatures in his quest to rid Sanctuary of the Green Dragon. However, before he could enter the dark cavern and slay the beast, Johnny got distracted by voices from the outside. Seconds turned to minutes and minutes to an hour and while Johnny was distracted, he was soon taken. Not by the Green Dragon, but by a silent enemy more fearsome than any dragon that has ever lived. The merciless wraith spoken of only in hushed whispers followed by signs to ward off its evil known as Bad Nav. Johnny returned to his senses, but it was too late and he was trapped in a vast but at the same time constricted emptiness. Unable to move or even speak, Johnny soon faded away until he was barely a memory. The moral of the story is don't be like Johnny. If you think you hear distracting voices from the outside, rush to a safe space and log out, lest you too end up in a void screaming for help but unable to be heard.

Hello everyone and welcome to September! The flowers of September are morning glory and the aster, and the birthstone is sapphire. I like what Henry Rollins once said about September which was "We know that in September, we will wander through the warm winds of summer's wreckage. We will welcome summer's ghost." I don't know about you all, but I'm ready for summer to be a memory! A lot of our residents were born in September:
Congratulations to Secret Spirits of the Realm for winning August's clan war! If you want the chance at glory for your clan and 5000 gems for your clan's vault, come together and take those pyramids!
Trapped in a void, unable to move and unable to speak. That's life in a bad nav. It's a waking nightmare but it can be avoided. Always make sure you log out if you leave the game. Even if you think you may be gone for only a minute or two, you might get distracted with other things and then return and find yourself trapped inside of a bad nav, like being buried alive.
Important Announcement: Auto-Deletion
< OedipaMaas >
Greetings everyone. I'm here to talk to you today about something serious, mortality. Not the "Oh crap the dragon is way too strong and now I'm mopping Raimus' throne room" mortality, but something decidedly more permanent.
The spectre of auto-deletion hangs over us all and it claims all souls who have been away for six months or 181 days. It cannot be bribed or bargained with and no one is completely immune from it. However, it is possible to protect yourself from its permanent cold embrace. Make sure to log in at least once every six months. If you do this, you will remain safe. However, if you do not then on the 181st day of your absence your character will cease to exist and nothing can help you. All of your progress will be forever lost and it will be back to the farm if you do decide to return. It's always sad when auto-deletion claims souls, so don't let it happen to you!

Hello everyone and welcome to August! The flowers of August are gladiolus and the poppy, and the birthstone is peridot. Sylvia Plath once described August as "the best of the summer gone, and the new fall not yet born. The odd uneven time." While it's hard to argue with such an accurate description, I like to think that odd uneven times are ripe for creation. What stories await you? What challenges will you accept and overcome?

Sleep paralysis is the terrifying condition where someone is trapped between being asleep and being awake. They are aware of their surroundings, but they are unable to move or speak. In many ways, being trapped in a bad nav is like sleep paralysis. You are aware of the world around you, yet you are unable to interact with it. The best way to avoid being caught in a bad nav is to always make sure you log out if you leave the game. Even if you think you may be gone for only a minute or two, you might get distracted with other things and then return and find yourself trapped inside of a bad nav, unable to move or even communicate with those around you. Terrifying.
