Greetings everyone and welcome to 2020! I hope the coming year will be full of wonderful surprises and happiness for you all. T.S. Eliot once wrote "last year's words belong to last year's language, and next year's words await another voice." The flowers of January are the carnation and the snowdrop and January's birthstone is garnet. Residents celebrating birthdays in January are:
If your birthday is in January but your name isn't listed above, post your birth date in the forum under your zodiac sign and we'll add you to the list!
Congratulations to The Devils for taking the prizes in December's clan war. If you would like to win glory for your clan and %10,000 gems for your clan vault, get together and start raiding those pyramids!
On a final note, as a group of people who have come together for friendship and adventure, let's all resolve for 2020 to make dreaded bad navs a thing of the past. They bring nothing but frustration for those who are unfortunate enough get trapped inside of one. They are also very difficult to fix. Please remember to log out of the game even if you think you will only be away for a few minutes.
I hope everyone has a wonderful 2020!

Greetings to everyone and welcome to December! The end of the year is fast approaching and with it comes the holidays! The flower for this month is the narcissus, and the birthstones are tanzanite and turquoise. Josephine Daskam Bacon once said "remember this December, that love weighs more than gold!" and I think that is very good advice. December is always a wonderful month here in Sanctuary with gifts under the tree in the inn and building snowmen in the town square. Residents celebrating birthdays this month are:
Congratulations to The Devils for winning November's clan war! If you want the chance at glory for your clan and 10,000 gems for your clan's vault, come together and take those pyramids!
'Twas the night before Christmas,
and all through the realm,
not a resident was stirring,
because they didn't pay attention to my past warnings and they timed out in the forest and now they're all stuck in bad navs.
There are gifts that keep on giving, but a bad nav is the gift that keeps on taking. It takes your time and even your life. Make sure to always log out if you step away from the game.
Happy Holidays everyone!

Greetings to all residents of Sanctuary and welcome to November! For many of us, autumn is in full swing now with beautiful colors lighting up the trees. The flower of November is the chrysanthemum and November's birthstones are the topaz and the citrine. Cynthia Rylant says of this month that, "in November, the smell of food is different. It is an orange smell. A squash and pumpkin smell. It tastes like cinnamon and can fill up a house in the morning, can pull everyone from bed in a fog. Food is better in November than any other time of the year." Residents celebrating birthdays this month are:
Congratulations to Secret Spirits of the Realm for winning October's clan war! If you want the chance at glory for your clan and 10,000 gems for your clan's vault, come together and take those pyramids!
Bad navs are an inescapable fact of life here in Sanctuary. They trap you and keep you completely isolated, sometimes for days. However, they can be very easily avoided. Just make sure that you don't time out, especially in the forest. That is how most bad navs happen. If you need to step away from the game, even for just a moment, then log out. You will save yourself so much frustration if you do. Enjoy autumn everyone!

Welcome everyone to October, a favorite month for many residents in our beloved Sanctuary.
The flowers for October are the marigold and the cosmos and the birthstone is the opal. L.M. Montgomery once wrote "I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers," and I feel exactly the same way. Residents who were born in October are:
Congratulations to The Devils, Elemental Circle of Friends, and The Seekers for emerging victorious in the Great Pyramid War of September! If you want the chance at glory for your clan and 10,000 gems for your clan's vault, come together and take those pyramids!
*turns on a flashlight and holds it under her chin.* It's time for a scary story, the story of the brave but doomed Elven warrior Johnny. It was a night like this, not too long ago when Johnny the Elf warrior set out on a quest to kill the fearsome Green Dragon. Johnny was fearless and he killed many vile creatures in his quest to rid Sanctuary of the Green Dragon. However, before he could enter the dark cavern and slay the beast, Johnny got distracted by voices from the outside. Seconds turned to minutes and minutes to an hour and while Johnny was distracted, he was soon taken. Not by the Green Dragon, but by a silent enemy more fearsome than any dragon that has ever lived. The merciless wraith spoken of only in hushed whispers followed by signs to ward off its evil known as Bad Nav. Johnny returned to his senses, but it was too late and he was trapped in a vast but at the same time constricted emptiness. Unable to move or even speak, Johnny soon faded away until he was barely a memory. The moral of the story is don't be like Johnny. If you think you hear distracting voices from the outside, rush to a safe space and log out, lest you too end up in a void screaming for help but unable to be heard.
